Environmental Liabilities

The Van Deemen project area has been the subject of exploration and mining activity since the 1930’s and, as such, there are shafts, pits and tunnels on the property, each with its waste rock dump, access trail or road and, in some cases, tailings dumps. It is not known to what extent, if any, that the Company would be responsible for the reclamation of these existing workings. Any excavation representing a safety hazard to field personnel or livestock should be fenced and have the appropriate signage.

There are no known environmental issues that are adversely impacting air, water or soil resources at the site.
